What was my impression before visiting?

I'd always wanted to visit Australia. It seemed like such a far-off, exotic place that was so different from anywhere else in the world. I'd seen pictures of the stunning beaches and heard stories about the friendly locals, and I knew that it was a place that I just had to see for myself. What did I think after visiting?: For anyone who has ever considered visiting Australia, you absolutely must go! There's something for everyone there, whether you're interested in natural beauty or urban exploration. And the Australians are some of the friendliest people I've ever met! In fact, they made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. Every time I got lost in Sydney (which happened more often than not), someone would stop to ask if they could help me find my way and make sure that I got back on track. Not only were the locals incredibly helpful, but the scenery is absolutely breathtaking! From gorgeous beaches where you can surf all day long to towering mountains and lush rainforests--Australia has it all. And every town we visited during our stay felt safe and welcoming too--you can wander around downtown at night without any worries. Whether you want a vacation full of outdoor activities or prefer relaxing on a beach by day and hitting up pubs at night, Australia will have something for everyone.

How was my visit?

The first day I visited Australia, I was immediately impressed by the natural beauty of the country. The beaches were stunning, the rainforests were lush and green, and the Outback was full of fascinating wildlife. I also loved the laid-back atmosphere and friendly people. After just one day, I could see why so many people fall in love with Australia. Here are three reasons why you should visit as well:

1) Australians are incredibly welcoming and easygoing: One thing that surprised me about Australia is how welcoming everyone is. My guide was an Australian who shared his favorite spots in Sydney with me, but he didn't make me feel rushed or like a burden for asking lots of questions. He even told me about some off-the-beaten path sites I might enjoy too!

2) There's something for everyone: From beautiful coastal towns to unique attractions such as Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock), there's plenty to do if you're visiting Australia. No matter what your interests are, chances are you'll find something you enjoy when you visit this wonderful country! 3) There's tons of things to do outside: If you want more than just the typical tourist activities, you'll be happy to know that there are tons of outdoor activities available in Australia. For example, my friends and I did a helicopter tour from Alice Springs and got spectacular views of all sorts of landscapes on our way down. We also went on a jeep safari through the heart of Queensland which we wouldn't have been able to experience without being here.

What surprised me about the country?

I was surprised by the natural beauty of the country. From the Great Barrier Reef to Uluru, there is so much to see and explore. I was also surprised by the friendly locals. Everyone I met was happy to help me out and make me feel welcome. They were always willing to talk about their culture and how they got here. It was fascinating getting a glimpse into what life in this country would be like! I could have done more research before I went on my trip, but it turns out that just being open-minded about the culture helped me get more insight than I expected.

Another thing that surprised me was just how diverse the food is in Australia. Not only do they have traditional Australian dishes like meat pies and Vegemite sandwiches, but you can find cuisine from all over Asia including Thai curry and Vietnamese pho! The people I spoke with told me about the different types of flavors you'll find in every restaurant. If you're looking for a break from typical American food, visiting an Aussie restaurant is your best bet!

The animals in Australia are just as incredible as the scenery. The koalas were too cute to handle when we visited the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary outside Brisbane. They sleep 20 hours per day and they even groom themselves while snoozing which is something I never knew koalas did before! Kangaroos are everywhere because apparently kangaroos only need water once every three days or so--it's one reason why Australia has such a low population density compared to other countries with higher populations density.

Would I go back again? And why?

I’ve always been drawn to the idea of visiting Australia. Maybe it’s because of my love for adventure, or maybe it’s because I have family there. But whatever the reason, I finally took the plunge and visited last year – and I’m so glad I did! Here’s why you should go too -It's a beautiful country that offers something for everyone.

-It's home to some of the world's most gorgeous beaches and rainforests.

-The people are friendly, welcoming, and willing to help when needed.

-The wildlife is fascinating! Kangaroos were one of my favorite animals that I saw while exploring Sydney's Taronga Zoo; also some cute koalas and kookaburras!

-You'll get plenty of time outside: walking around at Taronga Zoo helped me get used to the heat and humidity before taking a dip in Bondi Beach later that day. The water was refreshing and full of other tourists from all over the world. It felt like summer camp with an ocean view. After staying up late for a night on the town in Melbourne, I can say that this city has plenty to offer as well. The culture is rich and inviting, but what really stood out to me was how much work goes into making everything accessible with ramps everywhere! If you're looking for an incredible destination with plenty of things to do and explore, then this might be your best bet!

In Conclusion

I'm so glad I decided to visit Australia and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing travel destination. The food was great, the people were friendly, and there was so much to see and do. If you're thinking about visiting Australia, definitely go for it! You won't regret it. -The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven wonders of the world

-Koala bears are found all over this country

-This is a perfect destination for any type of traveler - whether you're into extreme sports or prefer relaxing on the beach- it's got something for everyone

-I loved my time in Sydney because there's always something going on. In Melbourne, I enjoyed the laid back vibe and peaceful atmosphere while I visited a koala sanctuary

-There's also a lot of wildlife in Australia that can be seen from anywhere- including from your room at night! Kangaroos hop by at sunset as if they've just stepped out of Walt Disney's Beauty and the Beast

-I never knew how many different animals lived in Australia until I came here. There are over 80 different types of birds just waiting to be spotted on your next hike through their natural habitat , which could include anything from kangaroos to lizards to kookaburras. I even saw a few koalas hanging around during my trip! It's hard not to love Australia when you find yourself surrounded by so much natural beauty. My favorite thing about this place is the variety; there are beaches and mountains, tropical rainforests and snow-capped peaks, deserts and national parks, neighborhoods bustling with life and deserted deserts stretching endlessly into the horizon...you'll find everything right here. Some travelers say it feels like paradise, but really it's more than that; it feels like home.
